We fund the programs, organizations, and people working to make justice more accessible and equitable for everyone in this province, because access to the law should not be determined by income, background, or circumstances.
Our history
Created in 1969, we were the first foundation of our kind in North America. What started in BC became a continent-wide model for funding access to justice, and our story is still being written.
Board of Governors
We are governed by an independent Board of volunteer members, responsible for making all decisions concerning grants.
Community Advisors
We seek input and guidance from the communities that are impacted by our work, making us a more effective and responsive funder.
