For Legal Advocates

We offer these resources to our funded legal advocacy network, to ensure high quality and effective services.

Resources for Legal Advocates

Legal advocates fill a critical gap in BC’s justice system, providing legal support to people who would otherwise have nowhere to turn. The Law Foundation of BC is passionate about supporting this network, and that commitment goes beyond funding. We see this network as partners in a shared mission to make justice more accessible for people across BC.

How We Support You

The legal advocacy network is something we have built and invested in over decades. That investment includes the tools, training, and ongoing support that help the network thrive. These resources are one way we show up for the people behind the work.

If you do not have access to any of the resources on this page, please reach out to your Law Foundation program staff. We are here to help.

Training & learning materials

We provide annual training for the network of legal advocates that we fund. We offer a collection of training recordings and materials, including foundational learning to new legal advocates working in either family or community law.
