The Foundation sets its grants budget and funding guidelines on an annual basis. One-time project funding is available annually.
Please note that most of the Foundation's grants budget is already committed to the existing continuing programs described in our Annual Report.
A grant application:
- must be submitted by a non-profit organization
- must fall within one or more of the five mandated areas
- must establish a clear benefit to the people of British Columbia
Typical Project Grant Cycle: (please keep in mind that projects should begin after the adjudication date)
LARGE PROJECTS – FUNDING UP TO $75,000 January Letters of Intent due March Shortlisting of Letters of Intent April Full project applications due June Funding adjudication
SMALL PROJECTS – FUNDING UP TO $15,000 October Applications due Dec/Jan Shortlisting of projects March Funding adjudication
GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP AWARDS January Applications due March Funding adjudication for the following September/June academic year
